INGREDIENTS
300 grams of cooked chickpeas
500 grams of skinless boneless chicken breast
30 grams of unsalted butter
2 big chopped onions Onion
3 cloves of chopped garlic
2 chopped tomatoes
2 chopped green chilies
1 chopped red bell pepper
4 tablespoons of tomato paste
600 grams of chopped tomatoes
20 grams of fresh chopped cilantro
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of cumin
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
How to Cook
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and saute the chicken until browned on all sides. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and saute over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until softened.
Stir in the tomatoes, chilies, bell pepper, tomato paste, salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Stir in the chickpeas and cilantro and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the chickpeas are heated through.
Serve hot with rice.

PROTIPS
Serve with Turkish rice and your favourite salad.
If you don't have skinless boneless chicken breast, you can use thigh meat. Just be sure to remove the skin and bones.
